Our world is rife with rifts. We know we ought to be kind to everyone, but families, communities, ethnic groups, and nations become divided by differences and injustices, envy and anger. Present Day Disciples

Jesus Christ is still making disciples. In 1990, of the 100 million Bhojpuri in northern India, only 10,000 confessed faith in Christ. Today they number in the millions! Since then, the disciple-making principles that the Lord taught the Bhojpuris have spread to other parts of the globe. Why not your neighborhood too?

Servitude or Freedom

A yoke is a wooden device which unites two animals so they can work in tandem. When Paul Simon sang, “I am a rock. I am an island,” he was expressing a lie people tell themselves. We all need to be connected, or yoked to someone or something, but will the relationship make us stronger? Jesus offers you a yoke that frees you.

“I Have a Gift for You!”

I awoke Easter morning hearing: “Get up!  I have a gift for you!”  For a few weeks I had been reading 1 Corinthians 12-14.  Therefore, I guessed the Lord meant He was going to grant me one of the gifts of the Spirit mentioned there.  

I knelt and prayed with my palms open, waiting for the gift.  When nothing seemed to arrive, I asked God for a verse of guidance.  Jeremiah 7:14 surfaced in my mind.  So, I looked it up:
