Rock Foundations Rockumentary

A YouTube playlist featuring brief videos about the early history of Rock music, alternating with hit songs from each era.

The times they were a-changin’

Rock music furnished the soundtrack of the 1960s and early 1970s — an amazing era of social movements, sex, drugs, and rock and roll.  Many young Baby Boomers hoped their revolutionary fervor would change the world.  Meanwhile, a simultaneous revolution surprised everyone — millions of young people became followers of Jesus Christ.

If you remember the ’60s and early ’70s:

  • Did you build your life on the mood of the times?
  • Did you build your life on Jesus Christ and the Bible?
  • Did you wind up somewhere in between?

The social revolution had its theme songs, and the Jesus movement invented Jesus music.  Rock Foundations Rockumentary (RFR) tells the story of both. You can also follow Rock music posts at this blog site by by clicking on Rockumentary in the Categories Menu.
